Dora Panayotova

Dora Panayotova, student of English and American Literature and History of Art at Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany, wrote her intermediate exams at Sofia-University "St. Kliment Ochridski", Bulgaria, and her MA thesis, "Labour, Time and Money in Henry C. Barkley' s Accounts of Bulgaria" at Ruhr University. She is a winner of a TEMPUS scholarship to Germany.

Her specialist periods are English Romanticism and the Victorian period. She is interested in the development of the concept of aestheticism, particularly in modern criticism of the beautiful as well as in contemporary theories of taste.

In her leisure time she indulges in creative occupations such as drawing and sculpturing.
